Lunch and Learn – Devolution and Economic Growth, 20th September 2024, 12pm – 1pm

September 20 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Lunch and Learn – Devolution and Economic Growth, 20th September 2024, 12pm – 1pm

We are delighted to welcome Simon Kaye, Policy Director at Reform (the Think Tank, not the political party) to cover some of their recent work on economic growth and devolution and facilitate a discussion on the way forward for devolving powers and investment to stimulate inclusive growth.

In August 2024, Reform published “What powers where? Achieving the ‘devolution revolution‘” alongside a wider body of work on devolution and economic growth. The report is the first major policy report in Reform’s Reimagining the Local State programme.

We look forward to hearing Simon’s views on what the pace and scope of devolution should be, where benefits in economic growth can be achieved and how this may impact on the devolution process within Local Government.

We look forward to welcoming members to the session and look forward to an informed discussion.  The attend the session or enquire about CEDOS, please contact info@cedos.org
