On 31st October we will be hosting a lunchtime knowledge exchange forum, working with Wiltshire Council, to explore approaches to allocating Employment Land within local strategic planning processes and the opportunities/levers available to Local Authorities to ensure appropriate and timely development.

Many Authorities have commented on the challenges, especially since the COVID-19 pandemic, of the difficulty in allocating and then successfully delivering employment land to the market and ensuring its successful development.

This session will discuss explore some of the common challenges Authorities are facing, especially in relation to pressures from alternative development, and some of the approaches different Authorities are taking in this area.  This session is open to CEDOS and non-CEDOS members.
